when we get a moment to escape for a holiday, we usually retreat to the mountains outside of highlands, nc...

...it's here that we refuel and end up drinking copious amounts of coffee from buck's coffee cafe (where you'll find dave matthews long lost twin behind the counter). the mountain air and the kindness of the locals are contagious and we leave with a little more hope in our pockets than when we arrived. the citrus and lavender blends in this bar keep us reminiscent of that fresh mountain air even when we are back home.
